Buffalo Wings tortilla chips

Old Dutch Arriba Buffalo Wings tortilla chipsSeveral new Old Dutch brand snacks have appeared in Ontario, thanks to the company's recent acquisition of Humpty Dumpty.

Sadly, I still have to drive to Thunder Bay to get Old Dutch plain potato chips, but at least they're distributing some Old Dutch out east. The current national product lineup includes Old Dutch kettle cooked chips, popcorn, and tortilla chips.

I tried the Arriba Buffalo Wings tortilla chips tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The chips themselves are a bit heavier than the main competition (Doritos), but not as heavy (or poke-your-cheek spiky) as PC Rebellos chips.

The buffalo wings flavour is non-chemical and light at first, with a strong spicy afterburn. The first couple of chips don't taste particularly spicy, but beware. It builds.

If you really crave buffalo wings, you should still drive to Buffalo, but these chips aren't half bad.

Next, I have to get my hands on the new Rip-L Creamy Dill chips.
