Irresistible popcorn from Popcorn, Indiana

Kettle Corn from Popcorn, IndianaCrispy & Crunchy, Sweet & Salty, says the package. That it is.

I discovered this excellent kettle corn in the premium snack section at my local Dominion grocery store. Nestled among organic corn chips and imported salsas, the big red bag stood out, and I took a chance.

I'm glad I did. After tasting the first handful of Kettle Corn from Popcorn Indiana, Mrs. TasteBuddy and I immediately declared it a new favourite. We went through the big bag quickly, and craved more immediately.

We returned to Dominion the next day but found that our bag was the last one. It took nearly a week to find more, at a Sobey's grocery store near Orangeville, Ontario. Their three bags had something sticky spilled on them (splash from an exploding pop can, I suspect), but I bought them anyway, and they're all gone. Now we're thinking about buying a case of the stuff.

So what's the fuss about? Kettle corn is light, sweet popcorn with a salty finish. If you have ever dropped Smarties into a bowl of warm, buttery popcorn, you already know the appeal of sweet and salty tastes mixed with popcorn.

This particular kettle corn, from Popcorn, Indiana (a real town), is fresh and delicious before they cover it with sweet and salty goodness. It's really good.
