Green Curry restaurant

I worked at the CBC in Toronto for six months last year. The first day I was there, I went to the basement of the Broadcasting Centre, and reviewed the options at the food court.

The longest lineup was at a place called Green Curry. The sign said they offered Thai and Vietnamese food. It turned out to be Thai and Vietnamese fast food: hot, cheap and delicious.

I ate there nearly every day I worked at the CBC.

Since I started my new position at World Vision in Mississauga, I haven't been able to get downtown very often. Lunch most days is a bowl of cereal or something packed from home.

I've been craving Green Curry.

I took a vacation day today to focus on my tech writing and spent some time downtown. I managed to get to Green Curry just before closing time, and ordered sesame chicken with pad thai noodles and salad.

Here's what I got for a little more than five bucks:

The first bite nearly made me cry. It was so good.

I can't wait to go back.
